UNITE FOR WOMEN

March 1, 2012

Every day 1000 women die throughout the world due to pregnancy related complications and many of these deaths could be prevented with simple, low-cost treatments and better quality obstetrics care.

As many of you know, the 8th of March is International Womens Day which involves events and demonstrations all around the world. Here in Sweden, RFSU are organizing push-chair marches throughout the country to raise awareness to the problem of maternal mortality.
Gathering for the march in Malmö will begin at 16:30 on Tuesday the 8th of March at Möllevångstorget, however, if you are not in Malmö, check out uniteforwomen.se to find out more info about where the other marches are to take place around Sweden.
Come on down, with or without a push-chair and show your support!
